My home was with my friends, within relationships, and in my solitude working on my craft. Looking back, I can conclude that my perception of home distorted what a home really should be- I had it backwards. My rest was with friends and girls who phased in and out of my life, and artistic expressions that went through various transitions of change. When I reflect on home now, I feel this feeling that can only be described as a hug like a warm embrace that welcomes me in the morning as I wake up and catches my spiritual baggage when I arrive home.
